About
Hi, I'm Frieda

Filmmaking is my passion—bringing stories to life, frame
by frame. Born in New York, raised in North Carolina, and
now based in Berlin, I’ve always been drawn to cinema’s
power to connect people across cultures.

With a BFA in Filmmaking from UNC School of the Arts,
I’ve worked across directing, writing, assistant directing,
and producing. I’ve helped shape projects like "Bestseller"
(First AD, Associate Producer), nominated at the Austin
Film Festival, and "Good For Me" (Second AD), screened at
Cannes Film Market and Dresden Film Festival. My
independent short "Will You Stay?" was a true labor of love
—self-funded, self-driven, and an unforgettable creative
journey.

Whether managing on-set logistics, ensuring seamless continuity, or casting the perfect talent, I thrive in the fast-paced world of film. I love the organized chaos of a set, the thrill of creative problem-solving, and most of all, collaborating with passionate storytellers. If you’re looking for a filmmaker who blends creativity with efficiency—and has a deep love for storytelling—you found her. I’m always up for a exciting new project.
